Busy day today. Restored my headlights, removed the useless trailer hitch that came with the car, cleaned out the soft top drains, installed hardtop side strikers and frankenstein bolts, swapped in an NB2 center console and a JDM as fuk dash pocket that replaces the useless passenger airbag switch. Also, gave it a wash and snapped a couple photos before going for a long-ish drive.

Have some more parts in the mail including an OEM front lip, a set of sideskirts, NB2 taillights and a vintage Momo Cavallino.

Looking good. Love the meaty tires. I moved to a town recently where apparently everyone drives a Miata. They're making me want one more and more everyday.

OEM size is 185/60/14, mine are 195/60/14 but these RT615k run pretty wide... they are probably closer to a 205

Take it you just blew out the drains with compressed air ... but what are Frankenstein bolts?

I used a coat hanger for the drains. The Frankenstein bolts sit on the rear deck and are used for the rear hardtop latches

I'm actually in the town next door. Clinton MA is the Miata town. There's a shop on the main st. that apparently specializes in Miatas. Last time I was there I counted 10 at the shop! Few for sale, including a blue NA with like 60k original miles!

I went with the small OEM sideskirts. Not sure if I want to go for the rear spats too.
